*This position is based out of our Westlake, OH office and will have a hybrid schedule after the probationary period.
JOB OVERVIEW
The Client Service Operations Specialist - Disbursements demonstrates an advanced understanding of outgoing money movements. Reviews complex tasks and transactions, and maintain documentation within established service levels.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
· Processes all outgoing cash functions in the Trust Accounting Department in accordance with all documented processes and procedures for ACH and Wires
· Runs, prints, organizes, and distributes standard and cashier checks using Trust Accounting and banking systems
· Calls in file totals for ACH processing in accordance with our banking system
· Processes voids on outstanding checks and stop payment requests
· Initiates and process daily bank transfers and wire request domestic and international
· Balances daily disbursement transactions ensuring accuracy and entering all items in Trust Accounting and bank accounts
· Recommends improvements to existing processes and procedures
· Collaborates with team members to ensure all daily tasks are completed by end of each day
· Follows assigned work schedule with regular and predictable attendance
· Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
· HS diploma or equivalent required
· Associate degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred
· Minimum 2 years of experience in the banking and/or financial services industry
· Experience in the retirement industry preferred
· In person interaction that includes actively collaborating with colleagues and participating in team or company meetings

TECHNICAL SKILLS
To be successful in this role, you should have experience with and an understanding of the following:
· Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office, with expert-level proficiency in Excel
· Intermediate 10-key skills with a minimum of 9,000 KSPH preferred
· Ability to type 45+ words per minute (WPM) preferred

This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to speak and hear. The associate is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time, as well as stand, walk, use hands and fingers, and reach with hands and arms. This job requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
